    <ns1:description language="en">A short study of Georgian version of Alexander romance, written by a Russian (and Georgian by origin) historian, archaeologist and scholars of Georgian literature Alexander Khakhanov (1864–1912). Khakhanov was the author of numerous works on Georgian history and literature, including the resonant Studies in the History of Georgian Literature. He also translated many works of Georgian written and oral literature into Russian, conducted extensive research in Georgia, Italy, France and England to reveal old Georgian manuscripts and published a history of Georgia in French. In this study Khakanov claimed that Georgian version of Alexander romance was not a translation from Greek, but a translation of the Serbian version of the romance.

    <ns1:description language="sr">Kratka studija ruskog (i, poreklom, gruzijskog) istoričara, arheologa i poznavaoca gruzijske književnosti Aleksandra Hahanova (1864–1912) o gruzijskoj verziji Romana o Aleksandru. Hahanov je bio autor mnogobrojnih dela o gruzijskoj istoriji i književnosti, među kojima su najpoznatiji njegovi Ogledi iz istorije gruzijske književnosti. Preveo je na ruski i mnogobrojna dela pisane i usmene gruzijske književnosti, tragao za starim gruzijskim rukopisima po Gruziji, Italiji, Francuskoj i Engleskoj i napisao jednu istoriju Gruzije na francuskom jeziku. U ovoj studiji Hahanov je tvrdio da gruzijska verzija Romana o Aleksandru ne predstavlja prevod sa grčkog, već prevod srpske Aleksandride.
