  <dc:description xml:lang="eng">A second edition of the De gentibus Indiae et Bragmanibus, ascribed to Palladius Helenopolitanus (ca. 363–ca. 425). This work fall into two parts: an introductory letter and a commentary on the episode of the meeting of Alexander the Great with a Brahman Dandamis in the seventh book of Arrian’s Anabasis. In this commentary the Brahmanical system of thought is elucidated. The editor and translator in Latin was an English politician of Cromwellian times Edward Bysshe (1615–1679).

Sastoji se iz dva dela: uvodnog pisma i komentara episode susreta Aleksandra Velikog sa bramanom Dandamisom u sedmoj knjizi Arijanove Anabaze. U ovom komentaru objašnjava se bramanski način mišljena. Izdavač i prevodilac na latinski bio je engleski političar Kromvelovog doba Edvard Bis (1615–1679).
