srp Apstrakt: U ovom ogledu se iznosi argumentacija protiv teze o istinitoj interpreta ciji kao cilju postupka tumačenja. Polazno određenje glasi da je interpretacija istinita ukoliko odgovara izvornom tumačenju. Posle razmatranja tri moguća scenarija odno sa tumača i izvornog tumačenja, zaključuje se da je zahtev za istinitom interpretacijom ili trivijalan ili ideološki. Tezu o istinitoj interpretaciji kao cilju postupka tumačenja trebalo bi zameniti nekom drugom, npr. tezom o više ili manje adekvatnoj interpretaciji, gde bi cilj tumačenja bio da se što više približi verovatnom značenju teksta. Abstract: This essay presents an argument against the thesis of true interpretation as the goal of the interpretation process. The starting point is that an interpretation is true if it corresponds to the original interpretation. After considering three possible scenarios of the relationship between the actual interpreter and the original interpretation, it is concluded that the requirement for a true interpretation is either trivial or ideological. A more moderate view is then considered, that an interpretation is true if it establishes the meaning that the author probably intended to attach to his text.
