    <ns1:description language="sr">Analiza vertikalnog skoka podrazumeva raznoliku metodologiju obrade signala vertikalne komponente sile reakcije podloge (VGRF) i analizu brojnih mehaničkih varijabli, što uzrokuje nedoslednosti u naučnoj literaturi i otežava tumačenje i praktičnu primenu rezultata. Cilj studije je da se pored predloga minimalnog broja varijabli koje opisuju skok sa počučnjem (CMJ) i skok iz polučučnja (SJ), ispita uticaj različitih metoda obrade signala VGRF na veličinu varijabli, kao i značaj faze doskoka i uloga indeksa simetrije nogu (IS) pri izvođenju skoka. Pretpostavljeno je da je moguće smanjiti broj varijabli koje opisuju CMJ i SJ (1); da su varijable faze doskoka pouzdani pokazatelji kvaliteta skokova (2); da različiti metodi obrade signala VGRF utiču na veličinu varijabli SJ (3) i da se prema IS mogu razlikovati ispitanici sa povredom (4). U studiju je uključeno 100 ispitanika oba pola, testiranih u dve odvojene sesije. Skokovi (CMJ, SJ_SS i SJ_90) su izvođeni na platformama sile. Rezultati su pokazali da su kod oba skoka najpouzdanije varijable performanse, zatim kinetičke i kinematičke. Varijable su se grupisale u četiri faktora kod CMJ i dva kod SJ. Istaknut je i značaj faze doskoka baziranoj na impulsu faze doskoka, kao pouzdane komponente performansi. Takođe, različite metode definisanja početka skoka uticale su na izračunavanje sile i snage kod SJ, pri čemu je predložen novi metod. U kontekstu asimetrija, ustanovljeno je da postoje razlike između nepovređenih i povređenih ispitanika na osnovu IS određenih kinetičkih varijabli. Dobijeni rezultati doprinose usavršavanju biomehaničke analize vertikalnog skoka i predstavljaju osnov za dalji razvoj dijagnostičkih procedura u evaluaciji performansi, monitoringu procesa rehabilitacije i prevenciji povreda donjih ekstremiteta.</ns1:description>
    <ns1:description language="en">The analysis of vertical jump performance involves various methodologies for processing vertical ground reaction force (VGRF) signals and assessing numerous mechanical variables. This diversity causes inconsistencies in the literature and complicates the interpretation and practical application of results. The aim of this study was to propose a minimal set of variables for describing the countermovement jump (CMJ) and squat jump (SJ), examine the influence of different VGRF signal processing methods on variable magnitudes, and assess the relevance of the landing phase and limb symmetry index (IS) in jump performance. The hypotheses were: that the number of variables describing CMJ and SJ can be reduced (1); landing phase variables are reliable indicators of jump quality (2); different VGRF processing methods affect the magnitude of SJ variables (3); and IS can differentiate injured from uninjured individuals (4). The study involved 100 male and female participants, tested in two separate sessions. Jumps (CMJ, SJ_SS, SJ_90) were performed on force plates. Results showed that, in both jumps, performance variables were the most reliable, followed by kinetic and kinematic. Variables were grouped into four factors for CMJ and two for SJ. The impulse during the landing phase was identified as a reliable performance indicator. Additionally, different definitions of jump onset influenced force and power outcomes in SJ, and a new method was proposed. In terms of asymmetries, IS based on kinetic variables distinguished injured from uninjured participants. These findings enhance biomechanical analysis of vertical jumps and provide a basis for improving diagnostic tools in performance evaluation, rehabilitation monitoring, and lower-limb injury prevention.</ns1:description>
