<ns1:title language="sr">NASLEĐE ,,POZORIŠTA SLIKA“ – POVODOM SMRTI REDITELJA ROBERTA BOBA VILSONA (1941–2025)</ns1:title>
    <ns1:language>sr</ns1:language>
    <ns1:description language="sr">Apstrakt
Tokom ove godine (2025) svetsku umetničku scenu napustio je američki reditelj
Robert Bob Vilson. U radu mapiramo neke od najvažnijih aspekata
Vilsonovog umetničkog nasleđa: pomeranje granica između pojedinih umetnosti,
stvaranje hibridnih žanrova, usvajanje metoda rada sa ,,storibordovima“
i ,,vizuelnim knjigama“, nov tretman vremena i prostora, i drugo. Dok
je istorijska/rana faza njegovog stvaralaštva s vremenom kanonizovana u
domenu avangardne umetnosti druge polovine 20. veka, njegova potonja
In 2025, the American director Robert “Bob” Wilson departed the global art
scene, leaving behind an extensive and transformative body of work. This
paper examines several key dimensions of Wilson’s artistic legacy: his redefinition
of boundaries between individual art forms, the creation of hybrid
genres, the adoption of “storyboard” and “visual book” working methodologies,
and his radical reconceptualization of time and space on stage. While
the early, historically significant phase of his oeuvre has long been canonized
within the avant-garde art of the late twentieth century, his later explorations
increasingly gravitated toward formalism and mannerist experimentation.
At the center of our analysis is Wilson’s seminal production Einstein on the
Beach (1976), a work that fundamentally reshaped contemporary theatre—
and operatic–experience, while exerting a notable influence across a range
of audiovisual practices. The paper also considers the distinctive reception
and status of this play within the local theatrical context, thus extending the
discussion to other Wilson productions presented at BITEF.</ns1:description>
