o:37227 Lingvistička obeležja diskursa javnih političkih debata Linguistic's characteristics of public political debate discourse : doctoral dissertation sr U ovom radu ćemo predstaviti lingvistička obeležja diskursa javnih političkih debata, u svetlu savremene teorije argumentacionog diskursa, na debatnom korpusu Skupštine Republike Srbije. Počeci izučavanja debatnog diskursa vode iz vremena Antike i razvoja retorike kao discipline. Savremena analiza debatnog diskursa se bazira na, pre svega, Aristotelovim retoričkim postavkama, ali ne samo na njima. Razvoj lingvistike i analize diskursa doneo je i nove poglede na argumentaciju. Današnja teorija posmatra debatni diskurs, argumente (kao njegove delove), pretpostavke itd. sa pozicija pragma- dijalektike. U teoretskom delu rada iznosimo kratak osvrt na početke proučavanja debatnog diskursa i predstavljamo osnovne pojmove kojima operiše savremena analiza diskursa kao i osnove pragma- dijalektičkog pristupa. U radu analiziramo lingvističke karakteristike debatnog diskursa, retorička i sintagmatsko leksička sredstva (sa posebnim osvrtom na metaforu, kolokacije, frazeologizme, ponavljanja, retorska pitanja), relacije među argumentima, strukture argumentacionog diskursa, i sheme na osnovu uočenih lingvističkih indikatora. Identifikovani elementi argumentacionog diskursa, pojavni oblici, struktura, jezički elementi su i emprijski potkrepljeni kroz njihovo postojanje u konkretnom diskursu. In this paper we will present the linguistic characteristics of public political debate discourse, in the light of the recent theory of argumentative discourse, on the debate corpus of the Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.. The beginnings of argumentative discourse research can be tracked back to Antique times and to the development of rhetorics as a discipline. Contemporary argumentative discourse anaysis is based primarily on the work of Aristotle and on his rhetorical settings, but not exclusively on them. The development of linguistics and discourse analysis has also brought us new perspectives on argumentation. Today’s theory studies argumentative discourse, arguments (and their parts), assumptions, etc. In the theoretical part of this paper, we will make a brief overview of the early researchof argumentative discourse, as well as present the basic concepts used by contemporary argumantative discourse analysis. We will also present the basics of the pragma-dialectical approach. In this work, we will analyse the linguistical characteristics of argumentative discourse, the rhetorical and syntax-lexical tools (with special attention to metaphor, collocations, phraseologisms, repetition and rhetorical questions), the relations between arguments, the structure of argumentative discourse, and diagrams based on the linguistic indicators. The identified elements of argumenattive discourse, its’ forms, structure and linguistical elements are also supported empirically, through their appearance in the specific discourse.
