o:34581 ЗОЈКИН СТАН МИХАИЛА БУЛГАКОВА У РЕЖИЈИ ЈУРИЈА ЉВОВИЧА РАКИТИНА (БЕОГРАД, 1934) ZOYKA'S APARTMENT BY MIKHAIL BULGAKOV DIRECTED BY YURIY LVOVICH RAKITIN (BELGRADE, 1934) sr Апстракт У раду се проучава премијерно извођење драме Зојкин стан у режији руског редитеља Јурија Љвовича Ракитина у Народном позоришту у Београду 1934. године. Реч је о представи која је у јавности прогла- шена за политички скандал, и након само једног играња скинута с репертоара. Истражују се могући разлози неуспеха представе: не- припремљеност тадашње публике на уметничке иновације и поли- тизација. Примењена је метода анализа садржаја ради сагледавања особености мање познатог Булгаковљевог драмског текста и ње- говог извођења. Коришћен је и историјско-архивски метод у циљу представљања околности играња представе и јавне расправе која је уследила након премијере. У раду се показује да је неуспех представе Зојкин стан повезан с културолошким и политичким приликама у тридесетим годинама прошлог века у Краљевини Југославији, а по- себно се указује на субјективност тадашње позоришне критике и њену улогу у креирању јавног мњења. Abstract This paper examines the premiere performance of the play Zoyka's Apartment directed by Russian director Yuriy Lvovich Rakitin at the National Theater in Belgrade in 1934. The play was publicly declared a political scandal and was removed from the repertoire after only one performance. This study explores possible reasons for the play's failure, including the audience's unpreparedness for artistic innovations at the time and the overt politicization of the play. Content analysis was applied to examine the peculiarities of Bulgakov's lesser-known play and its performance. The historical-archival method was also used to present the circumstances surrounding the performance and the public discussion that followed the premiere. The paper demonstrates that the failure of Zoyka's Apartment is connected with the cultural and political circumstances of the 1930s in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, highlighting the politicization of theatre criticism at that time and its role in shaping public opinion.
