Резиме: У раду се испитују потенцијални правци наставног изучавања поеме. Истраживачко полазиште био је покушај да се проблематичности са којима се наука о књижевности одувек сусретала при тежњама прецизнијег одређивања и коначног дефинисања овог жанра сагледају као могућа предност у контексту методичке обраде поеме. Након приказа историјског развоја и проблемског разматрања поетичких одлика поменутог жанра, указано је на својеврсну сазнајну поливалентност коју ова књижевна врста показује при наставној интерпретацији, а која се огледа у чињеници да се школско тумачење поеме може усмеравати ка бројним и разноврсним образовним сферама. Summary: The paper examines the potential directions of the study of poems in the school setting. The starting point of the research was an attempt to view the problems which literary science has always encountered in an effort to provide a more precise or the ultimate definition of this genre as a possible advantage in the context of the methodological treatment of poems.
