    <ns1:description language="sr">Rezime: Modeliranje koje se zasniva na agentima (agent-bazirano
modeliranje) predstavljajedan od novijih pristupa proučavanju kompleksnih
sistema koji se sastoje od autonomnih interaktivnih agenata. Vaznost
upotrebe ovog oblikci modeliranja generalno je prepoznata u društvenim
naukama, alije u nekim disciplinama, poput demografije, ova metodologija
relativno skoro zaživela. Stoga nas pregledni rad ima za cilj da predoči uvide
iz relevantne literature novijeg datuma koji tangiraju razloge koji su uslovili
pomenuto kašnjenje, ali i ključne izazove sa kojima se suočavaju istraživači
pri implementaciji agent-baziranog modeliranja u analizi demografskih tema.</ns1:description>
    <ns1:description language="en">Abstract: Agent-based modeling is a modern approach to the study of
complex systems consisting ofautonomous interactive agents. Its importance
is generally recognized in the socialsciences, but in some disciplines, such as
demography, this methodology has been used during (he last decade. That is
why our review paper aims to present insights from the relevant recent
literature that incorporate the reasons causing the above-mentioned delay, as
well as the key challengesfaced by researchers in implementing agent-based
modeling in demographic topics’ analysis.
