The aim of this paper is to determine the extent to which physical education impacts the functional abilities of students. The method consisted of collecting relevant literature in the period 2005- 2007, tabulation and further analysis. Physical education classes have positive effects on both functional and motor and morphological abilities, especially during puberty in students.
