Концепт принуде анализирам и редефинишем на основу наратива тражилаца азила из Ирана, који живе или су живели у прихватним и азилним центрима у Србији. Једна од основних претпоставки у овој дисертацији је да се концепт принуде или присиле у миграцијама може проширити ван иницијалног момента одласка из земље порекла, тако да обухвати транзитне миграције. Истраживање је спроведено у пост-кризном контексту, односно након затварања полу-званичног хуманитарног коридора, који је од лета 2015. до пролећа 2016. људима из Азије и Африке омогућавао релативно лакши пролазак кроз земље Балкана до земаља ЕУ. Методологија истраживања представља комбинацију наративне етнографије, студије случаја и анализе наратива, допуњених анализом секундарних извора и законских прописа. Истраживање има три главна циља. Први циљ истраживања је описивање и анализа различитих аспеката живота тражилаца азила из Ирана који бораве у прихватним и азилним центрима у Србији, као и представљање њихових наратива упоредо са културним и политичким контекстом Ирана. Други циљ је испитивање домета и редефинисање концепта принуде, прво као мотива за кретање, а затим као последице пракси које настоје да ограниче и задрже кретање, што ће резултирати проширивањем дефиниције принудних миграција. Трећи циљ истраживања је испитивање да ли се останак тражилаца азила из Ирана у Србији може посматрати као тип принуде, принудног не-кретања, и какве су последице тога на могућности њиховог уклапања у српско друштво. In this dissertation, I engage with the concept of coercion in the context of international migration. I analyze and redefine the concept of coercion through the narratives of asylum seekers from Iran, who have lived in reception and asylum centers in Serbia. One of the basic assumptions in this dissertation is that the concept of coercion in migration could be expanded beyond the initial moment of departure from the country of origin, so as to encompass transit migration. The research was conducted in the post-crisis context, i.e. after the closure of the semi-official humanitarian corridor, which from the summer of 2015 to the spring of 2016 allowed people from Asia and Africa relatively easier passage through the Balkan countries to the EU countries. The research methodology is a combination of narrative ethnography, case study and narrative analysis, complemented by analysis of secondary sources and legal regulations. The research has three main objectives. The first research objective is to describe and analyze different life aspects of asylum seekers from Iran who stay in reception and asylum centers in Serbia, as well as to present their narratives alongside the cultural and political context of Iran. The second objective is to examine the scope and redefine the concept of coercion, first as a motive for movement, and then as a consequence of practices that tend to limit and restrain movement, which will result in a broader definition of forced migration. The third research objective is to examine whether the stay of asylum seekers from Iran in Serbia can be interpreted as a type of coercion, forced non-movement, and what are the consequences of this on the possibility of their integration into Serbian society.
