o:32747 EKONOMSKA KONFRONTACIJA SAD I KINE - KRAJ POSTOJEĆEG MEĐUNARODNOG EKONOMSKOG PORETKA sr Apstrakt: U radu se analizira ekonomska konfrontacija između SAD i Kine koja je produbljena posle trgovinskog rata i trgovinskog sporazuma sklopljenog između dve zemlje početkom 2020. godine. Dat je pregled američko-kineskih ekonomskih odnosa, trgovinskog rata i rezultata novog trgovinskog sporazuma. Osnovni zaključak je da je trgovinski rat, koji su pokrenule Sjedinjene Države uvođenjem i podizanjem carina, bio promašaj jer nije postigao zacrtane ciljeve i jer je naneo opšti ekonomski gubitak. Trgovinski rat je potkopao međunarodni ekonomski poredak tako što su značajno narušena pravila vođenja međunarodne trgovine. Da bi se suprotstavile onome što se smatra nepoštenom trgovinskom praksom u sistemu slobodne trgovine od strane Kine, SAD su usvojile sistem državnog upravljanja spoljnom trgovinom, a protiv toga su se do tada najdirektnije borile. SAD su pod Bajdenovom administracijom produbile konfrontaciju ograničavajući izvoz mikročipova i drugih naprednih tehmologija u Kinu. Promena narativa u SAD u vezi funkcionisanja svetske privrede vode institucionalnim promenama koje će ozvaničiti kraj postoječeg međunarodnog ekononskog poretka. Abstract:The paper analyzes the confrontation between the United States and China which deepend after the recent trade war and the trade deal between the two countries at the beginning of 2020. The paper gives an overview of U.S. – China economic relations, the trade war and the results of the new trade deal. The general conclusion is that the trade war initiated by the United States through the introduction and raising of tariffs was a failure that caused general economic loss. The trade war undermined the international economic order as the rules of conduct of international trade were seriously infringed on. In order to oppose what they considered to be unfair trade practices by China, the U.S. adopted state managed foreign trade which they were directly struggling against up to that point.. Under the Biden administration the US has deepened the confrontation by restricting the exports of microchips and other advanced technology to China. The changing narrative in the U.S. regarding the functioning of the world economy will lead in due to time to institutional changes which will make the end of the existing international economic order official.
