Указаћемо на развој ове идејне окоснице његовог стваралаштва од првих песама које носе исти наслов као овај роман, а које су се појављивале у часописима шездесетих го- дина прошлог века. У раду ћемо анализирати и приповедачке поступке који илуструју пишчеву тежњу ка повратку својим коренима и извору сопственог бића, као што су: дечји говор и илустрације, хумор, дечја фокализација, деца као протагонисти приче и др, користећи се поетичким одредницама наивне песме и наивне приче. In this paperwork, with the help of poetic determinants of naive song and story, we have tried to show the poetic genesis of the phenom- enon of returning to childhood and homeland from Ršumović’s first works to the late novel The kingdom of Zauvari, in which he literature as a whole. Also, we addressed the issue of children’s speech in the novel and in general as one of the most important ways to reach the source of being and the world through an adventure of travel that is both phys- ical and spiritual. Besides examining the content aspect of the novel, we showed some important, modern formal procedures such as: inter- mediality, metatextuality, intertextuality, multimedia and pseudo-docu- mentary, which are woven into Zauvar’s storytelling process and helped the author to illustrate his basic idea of returning to his roots.
