<dc:title xml:lang="eng">Some possibilities for utilization of probability sampling techniques for quantification of global trends in mental health disorders</dc:title>
<dc:description xml:lang="eng">Abstract. For various reasons, researchers often cannot cover the entire
population set which is an object of investigation, but only a part of the basic
population set. In this paper, some sampling theory methods are applied in
order to estimate the parameters of mental health disorders in countries around
the world. There are numerous techniques and methods of sample selection, and
therefore various types of samples. In this paper, the objective is to utilize
sampling theory methods to examine relationships between features that model
different mental disorders. Precisely, the aim is to choose the method that
reduces the variance of the mean of the considered characteristics, as well as to
determine which feature dominates global trends in mental health disorders.
