Посматрају се њихове одлике у односу на ауторску бајку, али и у односу на поетичке коорди - нате њеног стваралаштва. Уочава се њихова атипич- ност и окренутост свету природе преко кога се алего - ријски осликавају људски свет и међусобни односи у њему. Уједно, Десанка Максимовић износи и једну врсту антропоцентризма што је, могуће, један од еле - мента њене поетике који је дошао до изражаја и у бај - кама за децу. Чудо је у њима чудо природе, често изо - стају категорије натприродног. Оно што, међутим, до - лази до изражаја јесте способност јунака да са лако- ћом прелазе из једне у другу сферу, спајајући воду и небо, земљу и ваздух, те се на тај начин постиже вер - тикално устројство бајке које своју сврху остварује не одласком у хришћанско или фолклорно већ у ослика - вању јединства света и дубокој вези свих бића на овом свету. Виђено на тај начин, Десанка Максимовић ино - вира бајку за децу и то чини, рекли бисмо, на непоно - вљив начин у српској књижевности за децу. Summary: The paper deals with fairy tales for children by Desanka Maksimović. Their charactristics are observed in relation to the author’s fairy tale, but also in relation to the poetic coordinates of her creativity. One can see their atypicality and orientation towards the natural world through which the human world and mutual relations are allegorically depicted. At the same time, the author presents a kind of anthropocentrism, which is possibly one of the elements of her poetics that came to the forein fairy tales for children. The miracle in them is a mi - racle of nature, the categories of the supernatural and even the functions of a hero according to Vladimir Propp are often absent. What comes to the fore, however, is the ability of the heroes to move from one sphere to another with ease, connecting water and sky, earth and air, thus realizing the vertical structure of the fairy tale, which achieves its purpose not by going into the Christianity or folklore, but in depicting the unity of the world and the deep connection of all beings in this world. Seen in this way, Desanka Maksimović innovates a fairy tale for children and does it in, we would say, a unique way in Serbian children’s literature.
