Abstract: The subject of this paper is limited by its scope, and it consists of analyzes based on attitudes of legal science, business, court and arbitration practice regarding important issues on: significance, application, general characteristics of the United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods of 1980 (Vienna Convention - VC); the validity of contracts for the international sale of goods; international character and autonomous interpretation of VK; obligations to respect the principles of conscientiousness and honesty; general principles of VC and application of the rules of private international law; determining the intention of the contracting parties towards BK; the importance of trade customs in the BC regime and in other sources of international trade contract law; determining the seat of the contracting parties according to VK and the form of the agreement on the international sale of goods according to VK. srp
