Koncepti kreiranja poželjne slike prošlosti često su prisutni u ponovnom promišljanju
kolektivnih identiteta postjugoslovenskih država, koje obuhvataju
i pitanje zajedničkog zaborava. Politike sećanja se na taj način često izražavaju
kroz eksplicitne i implicitne kulturne politike i njihove instrumente.
Jedna od dimenzija primene instrumenata, u kontekstu meke moći zasnovana
je na medijskim sadržajima, u ovom radu posmatrano kroz perspektivu,
zadatke i ciljeve javnog servisa sa posebnim fokusom na kulturno-umetničku
istoriju i nasleđe postjugoslovenske zajednice. U radu je upotrebljena
empirijska metoda, studija slučaja, gde je analizirana uloga javnog servisa
u promatranju slike jugoslovenske ideje u polju kulture i umetnosti na primeru
dokumentarnog serijala Put u budućnost (2017−2018) autora Borisa
Miljkovića, koji je Radio-televizija Srbije realizovala u dve sezone sa ukupno
24 epizode. Kroz različite istraživačke postupke, posmatrani su uticaji i primena
eksplicitne i implicitne kulturne politike, mogućnosti medijske meke
moći kroz polje kulture i umetnosti u drugoj polovini 20. veka na našim prostorima.
Rad u zaključnom delu ukazuje na moguću ulogu javnog servisa u
budućim politikama i projektima vezanim za kulturu sećanja.</dc:description>

Creating a desirable representation of the past is a common concept in the
rethinking of collective identities of post-Yugoslav countries. However, it also
includes the issue of collective forgetting. Thus, the politics of memory are
often expressed through explicit and implicit cultural policies and their instruments.
In the context of soft power, one of the dimensions of applying
these instruments is based on media content, and in this paper, it is analysed
through the perspective, objectives, and goals of the public service broadcaster,
focusing in particular on the cultural and artistic history and legacy of
the post-Yugoslav community. The paper uses the empirical method of a case
study to analyse the role of the public service broadcaster in reflecting on the
Yugoslav idea in the field of culture and art using the example of the documentary
series Put u budućnost (Path to the Future) (2017–2018) by Boris
Miljković, which Radio Television of Serbia produced in two seasons with a
total of 24 episodes. Different research approaches were used to examine the
effects and implementation of explicit and implicit cultural policy and the
possibilities of media soft power through culture and art in the second half of
the 20th century in the region. The paper's conclusion points to a potential
role of the public service broadcaster in future policies and projects pertaining
to the culture of remembrance.
