o:29219 Transmedijalni dizajn i meka moć kriminalističkog žanra: Besa i Južni vetar Transmedia design and the soft power of the crime genre: Besa and South wind sr Apstrakt Cilj ovog rada je da istraži porast broja TV serija, posebno kriminalističkog žanra, koji u odnosu na dugu američku i zapadnoevropsku tradiciju razvija snažan (trans)nacionalni trend u Istočnoj Evropi i na Balkanu u poslednjoj deceniji, detektujući (u određenoj meri) realistično društvene, socijalne i kulturne probleme i promene sistema. Istraživanje se prvo fokusira na aspekte lokalizacije kriminalističkog žanra u srpskoj produkciji, a potom se orijentiše ka interpretativnom okviru meke moći i reprezentaciji negativne slike društva u krizi (kontroverznim temama, polarizovanim odnosima i destabilišućim efektima žanra). Za analizu su posebno izdvojeni serijali Besa (2018) i Južni vetar (2018), čije teme, zapleti i likovi, zajedno sa drugim regionalnim serijama i filmovima, oblikuju savremenu medijsku sliku balkanskog organizovanog kriminalnog podzemlja. U ovoj interakciji specifičnu ulogu ima transmedijalni dizajn, čije strategije konvergentno šire i umnožavaju žanrovske konvencije van njihovih vizuelnih tekstova. Transmedijalnom cirkulacijom sadržaja, kroz simultano delovanje na više komunikacionih kanala, kumulativno se povećava delovanje meke moći kriminalističkog žanra. Abstract This paper examines the increase in the number of television series, especially of the crime genre, which – in relation to long existing American and Western European tradition – has developed into a strong (trans)national trend in Eastern Europe and Balkans over the last decade, and has detected (to a certain extent) realistically the problems and changes of the system (social, economic and cultural). The research presented here firstly focuses on the aspects of localization of the crime genre in Serbian production, and then it shifts towards interpretative framework of soft power and representation of negative image of society in crisis (controversial topics, polarized relations and destabilizing effects of the genre). The paper specifically analyses tv series Besa (2018) and South Wind (2018), whose topics, plots and characters, along with other regional series and films, shape contemporary media image of organized criminal underworld in the Balkans. In this interaction, the specific function is designated to transmedia design whose strategies are diffused in convergent manner, thus multiplying genre conventions beyond their visual texts. Transmedia circulation of content through simultaneous operating on several communication channels results in cumulative increase in soft power functions of the crime genre.
