neophodnosti značajnih promena u ekonomskoj teoriji i politici.
a) aktuelno stanje u ekonomskoj profesiji korespondira prisustvu svojevrsnog (osobenog)
izomorfizma, usled čega je autohtono transformisanje većeg broja ekonomista u pravcu
koji nije omeđen dominantnom metodologijom malo verovatno; b) izomorfne promene u
uticajem međunarodnih profesionalnih organizacija, koje definišu metode rada i
uspostavljaju kognitivnu osnovu i legitimitet za autonomiju ovog zanimanja.</dc:description>
<dc:description xml:lang="eng">Abstract: There is no doubt that the global crisis in the previous decade reaffirmed the
question of the necessity of significant changes in economic theory and policy. However,
the economic profession seemed to opt for pragmatism (reacting on symptoms) in both of
above-mentioned domains. The reason for such determination is, on the one hand, the
diminishing importance of its search for “new normal” in economic theory comparing to
the issue of modifying economic policy according to the new conditions. On the other
hand, the unproductive ambivalence of the economic profession was also manifested:
economists pointed to a multitude of omissions in the dominant paradigm, pleading for
more pluralism, but did not offer an explicitly formulated alternative to the mainstream.
Having that in mind, in this paper we intend to argue the following claims: a) the current
situation in the economic profession corresponds to the presence of distinctive kind of
isomorphism, which is why the autochthonous transformation of economists in a direction
not limited by dominant methodology is unlikely; b) isomorphic changes in the field of
accounting are a consequence of normative pressures, i.e. they take place predominantly
under the influence of international professional organizations, which define the methods
of work and establish the cognitive basis and legitimacy for the autonomy of this
profession.</dc:description>
