  <dc:description xml:lang="srp">APSTRAKT:
Poslednji put konsenzus u makroekonomskoj teoriji je postojao šezdesetih godina prošlog
veka.
I pored odsustva konsenzusa delovalo
promenjeno makroekonomsko okruženje, zanemarenu ulogu finansijskog sistema, ulogu
makroekonomskih modela, racionalna očekivanja, pretpostavku reprezentativnog agenta,
nedostatak vizije i dr.</dc:description>
  <dc:description xml:lang="eng">ABSTRACT:
The last consensus in macroeconomic theory existed in the 1960s. With the collapse of
Keynesianism, this consensus has disappeared and monetarist and classic theory con-
cepts have taken on the primacy in macroeconomic theory. Despite the absence of con-
sensus, the existing macroeconomic theory seemed to have provided a good explanation
for the functioning of modern economies. However, this illusion was dispersed by the
global financial crisis which had not been anticipated and which did not fit into any of the
existing macroeconomic models. It has raised a dilemma of whether the contemporary
macroeconomic theory is in crisis. The aim of the paper is to analyze those elements of
a standard macroeconomic theory which are “weak links” and which, in the author`s
opinion, need to be redefined. A particular emphasis is placed on the changed macro-
economic environment, the neglected role of the financial system, the role of macroeco-
nomic models, rational expectations, the assumption of a representative agent, the lack
of vision, and the like.</dc:description>
