Evaluacija uspešnosti poslovanja predstavlja jedan od glavnih zadataka svake kompanije,
na bazi čega se utvrđuje stepen realizacije definisanih ciljeva i vrši poređenje sa ostalim
kompanijama na datom tržištu. Imajući u vidu višestruku ulogu osiguravajućih kompanija
u nacionalnoj ekonomiji redovan monitoring finansijskih performansi i ocena finansijskog
položaja osiguravajućih kompanija predstavlja neophodnost. Budući da postoji veliki broj indikatora uspešnosti poslovanja, njihovo istovremeno praćenje predstavlja kompleksan
zadatak koji primena adekvatne metodologije bazirane na višekriterijumskom odlučiva-
nju može olakšati. Stoga je osnovni cilj ovog rada ukazivanje na mogućnosti i prednosti
primene metoda višekriterijumske analize u procesu analiziranja uspešnosti poslovanja
osiguravajućih kompanija u Republici Srbiji primenom integrisanog AHP-VIKOR metoda.</ns1:description>
    <ns1:description language="en">ABSTRACT:
Evaluation of business performance is one of the main tasks of each company, based
on which the level of realization of the defined goals is determined and compares with
other companies in the given market. Bearing in mind the multiple roles of insurance
companies in the national economy, regular monitoring of financial performance and
assessment of the financial position of insurance companies is a necessity. Since there
is a large number of business performance indicators, their simultaneous monitoring is
a complex task that can facilitate the application of an adequate methodology based on
multi-criteria decision-making. Therefore, the main goal of this study is to point out the
possibilities and advantages of using multi-criteria analysis methods in the process of
analyzing the performance of insurance companies in Republic of Serbia using integrated
AHP-VIKOR method.</ns1:description>
