  <dc:description xml:lang="srp">APSTRAKT:
Rast svetske privrede je usporavao tokom 2019. godine. Prognoze globalnog privrednog
no usporavanje industrijske proizvodnje u pojedinim zemljama. Ovaj trend je pojačan
u drugoj polovini 2019. godine. Narastanje protekcionizma u svetskoj privredi usporilo

The global economic growth continued to slow in 2019. The forecasts of global economic
growth and world trade growth have been revised downwards several times, with the slow-
down in industrial production in some countries. This trend was intensified in the second
half of 2019. The rise in protectionism around the world has slowed the growth of world
trade, and the assumptions about worldwide economic downturn have become more fre-
quent. Due to the complexity of global production networks, the globalization in the world
economy has deepened. The paper shows that Serbia’s integration into global production
networks has increased, which has had a positive effect on commodity exports. However,
due to the high degree of globalization, recessionary impulses are transmitted quickly from
one economy to another. The coronavirus pandemic has led to a halt in production in many
countries, so it will adversely affect the economic growth and the world trade. It is uncertain
today what will happen in the future and when this pandemic will pass, so that forecasts for
world economy trends are of short-term nature and are subject to correction.</dc:description>
