The doctoral dissertation Cultural Poetics of Pagan, Christian and Personal Identity in the Poetry of Draginja Urosevic, Darinka Jevric and Zlata Kocic takes an analytical approach to the processing of diverse identities expressed in the poetry. The author's poetry is gathered around the same motives of paganism, Christianity and personality, feminine, artistic recognitions and identification of creators in searches for the essence. Identity issues are observed through the cultural poetics of the authors, with a gradual consideration of the influence on the formation of a certain poetic circle in the poetry of each of the poets. The dissertation consists of six central chapters, with a number of subchapters. The introductory part implies a theoretical-methodological approach, since it presents the initial hypotheses, but also indicates the theoretical and conceptual framework through which the focus of the problem will be observed. The following chapter provides a concise analytical review of the existing critical expression, as an important segment that contributes to the understanding of contemporary critical thought about the poetry of the observed authors. In the next three chapters, the constitution of identity in selected poems is presented by qualitative analysis, with the monitoring of the gradual upgrade of the motive structure through various collections of authors. Identity issues of paganism, Christianity and personal integrity of women, poets; they are interpreted and considered partially, with the detection of points of intertwining and mutual intersections, until the appearance of transposing motifs from one cultural pattern to another. The pagan identity in the poetics of Draginja Urosevic, Darinka Jevric and Zlata Kocic is observed in three different subchapters through Slavic mythology and the cultural heritage of the Slavs, with sporadic influences of mythologies and the heritage of other peoples. Arche-line of creativity in the poetry of poets is an important motive circle that is revealed gradually, to a certain point of culmination from which it intertwines and is inextricably linked with Christian identity. The concept of the pagan understanding of the world through one unchangeable fateful thread reveals human impotence before the force of nature, and all human attempts to influence and control that force precisely form that arche-pattern of identity expressed in the considered verses.Christian identity as one's own aspiration towards God, from the margins to the center of the human spirit by the poets Draginja Urosevic, Darinka Jevric and Zlata Kocic, is observed in the fourth chapter through the following three subchapters. The poetry of each of the authors is approached individually, through a representative opus of selected poems. The cultural pattern of Christianity is interpreted as a concept of memory and knowledge, about the divine, the transcendental. Human, personal age towards the Absolute as a confirmation of eternity is a thread that poets pull through the world of poetry, building a unique Christian identity in the verses of specific eschatological aspirations. The religious dimension of Christianity is realized in three completely different ways in the poetic works of each of the poets, and their approaches to the motive structure are explained in separate subchapters. The fifth unit of this scientific research examines personal identity as a poetic and gender identity, including an analysis of a wide range of motives. By imitating poetic and spiritual role models, personal growth towards the staunch characters of women and men in the literature, history and culture of the three observed poets Urosevic, Jevric. Kocic opens and sheds light on numerous issues of personal identity in a broader sense. The chapter dedicated to personal identity as a manifestation of female, literary, artistic expression reveals the poetry of the author in the perspective of gender theory as a critique of the position of women in the world, in literature. The final chapter presents the conclusion of this doctoral dissertation as a retrospective of the processed identity issues in the author's poetry, through a systematic review of the four initially set hypotheses. This chapter exhaustively explains the conclusions reached in this paper during the analytical examination of pagan, Christian and personal identity in the poetry of Draginja Urosevic, Darinka Jevric and Zlata Kocic. - Jerkov, Aleksandar, 1960- https://phaidrabg.bg.ac.rs/o:28128 cobiss:108433161 thesis:9017 info:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesis 200 стр.
