Полазна основа истраживања иницирана је тежњом за ширим обухватом еписте- молошке анализе Законоправила Светог Саве (1219) и српског на- родног усторојства које је из њега проистекло, као и узрока кон- тинуалне посвећености српских ставралаца идеји хармоније. Циљ овог рада је да прошири слику о основама и искуствима уграђе- ним у наше средњовековно наслеђе и учење о начелу склада и сагласја које се у српском народу кроз светосавље пренело све до савременог доба. Сврха рада је да се кроз шире мултидисци- плинарно сагледавање прошири увид о основама и историјском обухвату развоја идеје хармоније у стваралаштву српског народа, односно вековне тежње да се успостави складна мера и сагласје у духовном развоју појединца и саборном односу народног, цркве- ног и државног живота и деловања. Рад је посвећен обележавању осам векова светосавља. Apstrakt: This article is a result of a part of research on the Saint Sava’s heritage seen through the prism of the application of aeropagite pattern of proportion and establishment of the social order based on the principles of harmony. The starting point for this research was an insufficient scope of the epistemological analysis of the Nomocanon of Saint Sava (1219) and the Serbian national constitution that stemmed from it, but also the pursuit for comprehensive understanding of the cause and consequence of the continuous dedication of the Serbian begetters to the idea of harmony. The aim of this article is to expand the image of the cognitive basis and experiences built in our medieval heritage, with a special review of the teachings on the principle of harmony and consonance (which have been transferred among the Serbs through the teachings of Saint Sava from medieval to modern times). The key aspect in that regard is the generalisation of three principles (principle of consonance, principle of the continuity of knowledge and the principle of relatedness), which made the medieval foundation for the preservation of the harmonious order within the “proportioned to God” action and conciliarity of the Serbian church, people and the state. The article offers a short overview of the ideas, insights and approaches in relation to the understanding and application of the principle of harmony achieved by the greats of the Serbian science and arts in the period from the 18th to the 20 th century. The purpose of this article is to expand the awareness of the foundations and the historical scope of the development of the idea of harmony in the achievements of the Serbian people, through a multidisciplinary approach to research, i.e., the centuries of effort to establish a harmonious measure and consonance in the spiritual development of an individual and conciliar relationship between the social, church and state life and activities.
