Под делиберативном демократијом подразумевамо институционално организовану јавну расправу грађана неке заједнице под условима који су фер. Зато је једно од важних питања којим смо се бавили било који су то нормативни захтеви на којима треба да се заснивају делиберативне институције. Нисмо узели у обзир све теоријске правце унутар делиберативне демократије, већ смо се фокусирали само на оне које су од највећег значаја за ова нормативна питања и који су најрелевантнији за испитивање могућности њене практичне примене... The aim of this study is to appraise the normative justification attributable to deliberative democracy, as also to determine whether the ideal of deliberative democracy is itself achievable. The term, „deliberative democracy“ applies to an institutionally organized public discourse, undertaken by the citizens of some, as yet unspecified community and under such conditions as are deemed to be fair. For this reason, one of the more important questions considered in this study is what precisely are the normative requirements which are supposed to serve as the foundation of deliberative institutions. We did not consider all of the possible theoretical directions associated with deliberative democracy, but instead focused only on those which were deemed of the greatest importance in respect to these normative questions and those which in turn were considered as being the most relevant to the process of researching the possibility of its practical implementation...
