Бројна су схватања и одређивања културе. Постоји око 450 дефиниција, што поставља културу у најдефинисаније области. Ове дефиниције културе разврставају се као: описне, историјске, нормативне, генеричке, психолошке, структуралне и непотпуне. Језгро заједнице глувих чине глува лица која имају заједнички језик, заједничке вредности и заједничка искуства. Глуви такође прихватају одређен начин међусобних односа између себе, те са оним члановима који не припадају језгру, као и са заједницом људи који чују. Ово језгро може се назвати и група за узајамност културе глувих. Глуви су, као и свака мањина, образовали посебну културу. Имају свој језик – знаковни језик, начин комуникације, сленг, КУД, позоришта, спортске организације, ТВ емисије, свој дан – Међународни дан - недељу глувих. Општи циљ истраживања је да се утврде специфичности културе глувих и наглувих особа у Србији... Term “culture” is one of the most used terms in the modern world. There are numerous definitions and interpretations of culture. There are more than 450 definitions, putting culture in one of the most defined areas. These definitions of culture are classified as: descriptive, historical, normative, generic, psychological, structural and incomplete. Core of the deaf community consist of deaf persons who share common language, common values and common experiences. Deaf also accept a specific manner of mutual relations among themselves, with those who do not belong to the core, and with hearing people. This core can be named as group for deaf culture reciprocity. As any other minority group, deaf people have created a specific culture. They have their own language – sign language, means of communication, slang, cultural artistic societies, theatres, sports organizations, TV shows, their day – International day and week of deaf. The main objective of this research is focused on the specifics of the culture of the deaf and hard of hearing people...
